CANCELLATION POLICY: (and other fun rules to follow)
We pride ourselves on the number of repeat visitors we have. It speaks volumes about how we run our small business. We do our best to be flexible with reservations and still keep our rooms filled during a very short winter season so we keep the lights on & rates low.
We understand our boss - Mother Nature - doesn't always deliver when expected and the need to ride when the snow's dumping.
So, because of this - we've put a cancellation policy in place:
Group Rentals: Suggestions: You can reserve the entire Lodge (9 rooms) at a discounted rate from renting rooms individually. The rate considers you Reserve early. Share the dates you're considering so that we can help steer others to another weekend if we know your plans. The Lodge fills up fast once the snow flies. There is a rate to reserve the entire Lodge. If you reserve the Lodge and only use 8 of the 9 rooms, you are already receiving a discount to reserve the entire Lodge. We don't discount the cost further because your 9th friend backed out. The discounted cost is the cost. Fill the place up. Find another friend.
Room Reservations: We require a 1-night deposit to hold the room.
If you cancel your reservation, our policy is to keep the 1-night deposit.
If you've stayed with us in the past, you'll know how flexible we are. You respect our small business and short winter season and we will respect your need to vacation where and when the snow flies. So here's the deal. If you need to cancel within 30 days:
* If we end up renting for your entire proposed stay, your deposit will be honored as a credit toward your next reservation. It's our discretion whether we consider refunding your deposit. It'll take a good story.
* If you no-show or at the last minute cancel your reservation (for whatever reason... and we've heard most of them already) and we are left with empty rooms getting your posts about riding with your buddies elsewhere, your deposit is simply one of the costs of impulsively jumping on what seemed, at the time, to be a good decision. AND I'll guarantee we'll have more fun here so that's the other cost of being impulsive. AND you are now on that special list of no-shows.
* If you break our stuff. Mistakes happen. I break things all the time. Glasses get dropped. No big deal.
AND negligence and "I don't give a shit about your place" attitudes happen. Which will not be tolerated. We work way too hard to bring the place to life with amenities to make your stay great.
* byob lounge area, Hot Tub, Sauna have a closing time. In theory, it's 11 if we have various groups staying in the Lodge. If you rent the entire place, then only the Hot Tub and Sauna are shut down at 11. Nothing good happens in those areas after 11. *Thank you Delta Chi.
* Unattended kids will be give espresso and a puppy. We have stories. We'll share them. Please watch your kids. Safety is our #1 concern. And protecting things from being destroyed is a close 2nd. Please, help us out.
